I hope you and your dog enjoy a long and healthy life together. The alternative to those veterinary products could have been to not have a dog. I am in the midst of trying to 'reprogram' my acquisitive children in this regard. They want to buy/adopt/save/capture just about every animal that they see. We have two cats that were saved from almost certain starvation on the street. They have been the cause of some necessary plastic consumption thanks to the danger of ticks here.
